Freeland Shines in NBA D-League Debut

Joel Freeland Idaho Stampede

GB star Joel Freeland, assigned on the same day to the Idaho Stampede from the Portland Trail Blazers, scored 22 points and added 11 rebounds as the Idaho Stampede won their first game of the year, 105-91 over Santa Cruz Warriors, at CenturyLink Arena.

Freeland went 9/17 from the floor, 4/4 at the line and added 3 assists in the game that will no doubt be a huge confidence booster for the 6’11” forward who found playing time hard to come by with the Blazers.

Freeland will look to build upon his debut tonight, as the Stampede take on Santa Cruz in the second game of the double header.
