Great Britain fell to 0-4 in their warm-up games as Russia ran out to a 22 point victory on Thursday night, winning 76-54.
GB were led by Joel Freeland’s 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, as Dan Clark was the only other player to join him in double figures with 10 points and 6 boards.
Talking after the game to BBC Sport, Freeland said:
“We had a great first half. I think we just lost our legs in the second half.”
“I think that’s down to a bit of fatigue, early days in the training camp. I think, going on, we’re going to get a lot better.”
Andrei Kirilenko had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 blocks and 2 steals for Russia,
