Haris Memorial Tournament Recap Day 2

The second day of the 2011 Haris Memorial Tournament took place yesterday with German side Breitengüßbach and Spanish side Cornella proving to be the teams to beat.

England Under-16s continue to struggle, suffering heavy defeats to both Manchester Magic Under-18s and Breitengüßbach, scoring a combined 92 points across both games (45 and 47). It was younger players (1997 born) Marko Backovic and Josh Steel who led England in their first game against Manchester with 11 and 7 points respectively, whilst Medway’s Liam Carpenter had 12 in England’s second outing.
