Temi Fagbenle Named A McDonald’s All American

Temi Fagbenle, the 6’4″ forward/center currently attending Blair Academy in New Jersey has been named to the prestigious McDonald’s All American Game for the best 24 high school players in the US. She’ll be suiting up for the East Team after a standout season with Blair where she is averaging close to 18 points, more than 12 rebounds, two blocks and two steals per game in her senior year.

Tem Fagbenle Blair AcademyFagbenle, who was named the England U18 Women’s Player of the Year for 2010, originally came through the renowned Haringey Angels programme, and has committed to Harvard for next season.

She is ranked #13 in her class by ESPN HoopGurlz.

Last summer Fagbenle suited up for the England U18 Women at the 2010 Division B European Championships, being named to the all tournament team after averaging 16 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 2.5 blocks per game on just under 60% field goal shooting (57.8%).

She led the tournament in defensive rebounds, 2pt field goal percentage, double doubles, total rebounds and 2pt field goals made as well as being amongst the leaders in a number of other key statistical categories.
