Soko, Robinson & Hamilton Lead Brits, NCAA Recap

Alabama-Birmingham rallied in the final minutes to defeat Central Florida 74-69 behind a strong game from Ovie Soko. Soko played 30 minutes, shooting 4/5 from the field and 5/10 at the line for 13 points and 6 rebounds.

Rider suffered an 80-60 defeat to Saint Peters. Justin Robinson played 33 minutes before fouling out, going 5/12 from the floor (4/8 from deep, 2/2 at the line) for 16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Santa Clara defeated Loyola Marymount 79-72. Ashley Hamilton finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block in 32 minutes, going 2/9 from the floor and 8/9 at the line.

Davidson got a 75-64 comeback win over College of Charleston, despite Andrew Lawrence having a strong performance. Lawrence finished with 10 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 3 steals in 23 minutes, shooting 3/5 from the field and 2/4 at the line. Ben Allison played 11 minutes for Davidson remaining scoreless on 0/2 shooting, but grabbing 2 rebounds and dishing 1 assist.

Long Island University defeated Monmouth (N.J.) 74-69. Phil Wait finished with 7 points and 7 rebounds on 3/5 shooting (1/2 at the line) in just 17 minutes.

Central Connecticut State defeated Wagner 75-71 on Saturday. Devan Bailey played 38 minutes, going 2/6 from the field and 3/4 at the line for 7 points, 3 assists and 2 steals. Clayfell Harris registered a DNP for Wagner.

North Dakota got an 83-73 victory over Houston Baptist. Ben Daniels played 17 minutes, going 2/3 from the field (2/2 from deep) for 6 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

Bethune-Cookman rallied for a 61-60 victory over South Carolina State. Joe Ikhinmwin played 17 minutes, going 3/5 from the field for 6 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist.

Quinnipiac defeated St. Francis (Pa.) 75-55. Raheem May-Thompson played 16 minutes, scoring a season high 6 points on 3/4 shooting whilst adding 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.

St. Bonaventure got a 69-60 victory over Fordham. Ogo Adegboye played 39 minutes, going 2/6 from the field and 2/4 at the line for 6 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal. Fahro Alihodzic registered a DNP for Fordham.

Northwestern almost upset number 1 ranked Ohio State, but eventually succumbed to a 58-57 defeat. Alex Marcotullio played 26 minutes in the loss, going 2/5 for 5 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists.

Portland State defeated Sacramento State 86-80. Paul Guede saw 23 minutes in the starting role, going 1/6 from the field for 2 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.

Oklahoma got an 82-76 OT victory over Iowa State in a game that Jamie Vanderbeken struggled in. Vanderbeken went 0/7 from the field and 2/2 at the line for 2 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks in 41 minutes.

Stony Brook routed Hartford 69-35. Danny Carter was moved out of his usual starting role to the bench in this one, playing 23 minutes, going 1/4 from the field for 2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.

Maine rallied from a 22-point halftime deficit to beat Binghamton 77-74. Alasdair Fraser saw 11 minutes off the bench, going 0/1 from the field to remain scoreless but added 3 rebounds and 1 block.

Campbell held off North Florida 76-66. Larry Awosanya grabbed 2 rebounds in 5 minutes.

St. Francis (N.Y.) handed Fairleigh Dickinson an 86-77 defeat. Sam Fernley of Fairleigh Dickinson played 3 minutes, finishing with 1 assist. Richard Clark of St. Francis registered a DNP.

Furman won over Appalachian State 81-61 on Saturday. Ryan Kilmartin registered a DNP.

SMU got past Rice 75-68. Myles Luttman registered a DNP.

IPFW held off Oral Roberts for an 80-77 win. Mikey Manghum registered a DNP.

Jacksonville State won over Eastern Illinois 56-46. Levi Noel registered a DNP.
