Robinson Leads Rider To Another W, NCAA Recap

Justin Robinson scored 19 points to lead Rider to a 61-59 win over Iona on Thursday night. Robinson shot 7/15 from the field and 3/4 at the line whilst adding 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 38 minutes. Teammate Tom Pereira played 6 minutes finishing with 1 rebound.

St. Francis (N.Y.) got a 62-61 victory over Monmouth (N.J.). Richard Clark played 2 minutes for St. Francis, finishing with 1 rebound. Phil Wait had 10 points and 7 rebounds in just 19 minutes for Monmouth, going 2/4 from the field and 6/9 at the line

Portland State were defeated 65-51 by Eastern Washington. Paul Guede had 10 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals in 28 minutes, shooting 2/5 from the field and 6/10 at the line.

Loyola Marymount suffered a heart breaking 61-60 defeat to San Francisco. Ashley Hamilton was in the starting forward spot, playing 18 minutes, going 3/6 from the field and 2/3 at the line for 8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.

Central Connecticut State got a 71-52 victory over Mount St. Mary’s (Md.). Devan Bailey played 28 minutes, going 1/2 from three for 3 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

Marist were routed 85-53 by St. Peter’s. Menelik Watson had 4 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists in 23 minutes, going 0/2 from the field and 4/10 at the line.

South Dakota got a 90-73 victory over Houston Baptist. Ben Daniels played 18 minutes in the loss, finishing with 2 points and 2 rebounds on 1/5 shooting.

Quinnipiac got a 69-61 win over Robert Morris snapping a three-game losing streak. Raheem May-Thompson was back in the starting spot, playing 22 minutes, finishing with 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist on 1/4 shooting.

Nevada held on to beat Fresno State 79-76. Patrick Nyeko played 16 minutes, going 0/2 from the field to remain scoreless whilst adding 1 rebound and 2 assists.

Fairleigh Dickinson suffered a 97-89 loss to Long Island. Sam Fernley registered a DNP.

Wagner won over Bryant 80-75. Clayfell Harris registered a DNP.

Wofford got past Appalachian State 74-65. Ryan Kilmartin registered a DNP.

Tennessee Tech defeated Eastern Illinois 77-74. Levi Noel registered a DNP.

Oakland, Mich., got past Oral Roberts 88-85. Mikey Manghum registered a DNP.
