Robinson & Rider Win 5th Straight, NCAA Recap

Justin Robinson helped Rider defeat Niagara 82-65 on Friday night for the Broncs’ fifth straight win. The Broncs (11-5, 3-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) are now off to their best start since beginning the 1982-83 season 14-4. Robinson had 16 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds in 33 minutes, shooting 6/13 from the floor and 1/1 at the line. British teammate Tom Pereira had 3 points in 10 minutes, making his only three point attempt.

Marist suffered defeat to Fairfield 59-44. Menelik Watson was back in the starting role, playing 17 minutes, finishing with 1 point and 4 rebounds on 0/2 shooting (1/2 free throws).

Campbell got through a rough offensive start in a 65-52 win over Kennesaw State. Larry Awosanya played 1 minute, registering 1 turnover.
