Bryan-Amaning Has Career High 30, NCAA Recap

Matthew Bryan-Amaning carried the Huskies with a career-high 30 points and Washington pulled away late for an 88-75 victory Saturday. Washington (15-4) improved to 7-1 in Pac-10 play, it’s best start since the 1986-87 season. Hamilton had a season high 19 points on perfect field goal shooting (7/7 whilst going 5/7 at the line), whilst adding 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in 27 mins of action.

Loyola (Md.) got past Marist 75-69 in a battle of Brits. Shane Walker played 29 minutes before fouling out, finishing with 9 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists on 3/8 shooting (3/4 at the line). Menelik Watson fouled out in just 7 minutes for Marist going 1/1 from the floor for 2 points.

Memphis defeated Alabama-Birmingham 76-73 in overtime. Ovie Soko played 27 minutes before fouling out, finishing with 8 points and 8 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block on 3/4 shooting (2/4 at the line).

North Carolina A&T got an 84-74 overtime victory over South Carolina State. Joe Ikhinmwin played 27 minutes off the bench, finishing with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 1 block on 3/10 shooting.

College of Charleston defeated Appalachian State 73-64. Andrew Lawrence had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal on 2/5 shooting in 27 minutes for Charleston, whilst Ryan Kilmartin registered a DNP for Appalachian State.

Missouri routed Iowa State 87-54. Jamie Vanderbeken had 5 points and 5 rebounds in 23 minutes in the loss, shooting 2/6 from the field.

Monmouth (N.J.) rallied from an 11-point deficit to knock off Bryant 81-76 in overtime. After his big game on Thursday night, Phil Wait played just 9 minutes, going 1/4 from the field to finish with 2 points.

Northern Arizona got a 71-59 win over Portland State. Paul Guede got the nod for the starting spot, playing 33 minutes whilst shooting 1/4 from the field and 1/2 at the line for 3 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

Mount St. Mary’s beat Quinnipiac 72-63. Raheem May-Thompson tied a season high with 22 minutes, finishing with 5 points (2/4 field goal shooting, 1/5 at the line), 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 2 blocks.

Nevada rallied to beat Louisiana Tech 66-58. Patrick Nyeko had 4 points and 3 rebounds in 13 minutes, going 4/4 from the line.

St. Bonaventure defeat George Washington 62-49. Ogo Adegboye struggled, fouling out in 18 minutes to finish with 3 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist on 1/3 shooting.

Central Connecticut State to a 72-67 overtime victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday. Devan Bailey played 24 minutes, before fouling out going 0/2 from the field to remain scoreless whilst registering 1 blocked shot. Sam Fernley registered a DNP.

Campbell routed Stetson 85-55 on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak. Larry Awosanya played 2 minutes finishing with an empty statline.

Providence got a 72-67 upset victory over Louisville (No. 15 ESPN/USA Today, No. 19 AP) on Saturday and the Friars won a Big East game for the first time in 51 weeks. Lee Goldsbrough registered a DNP.

Sacred Heart got past Wagner 79-76 on Saturday night. Clayfell Harris registered a DNP for Wagner.

Robert Morris rallied in the second half to defeat St. Francis (N.Y.) 54-51. Richard Clark registered a DNP.

La Salle got a 76-75 victory over Rhode Island. Ben Eaves registered a DNP.

SMU got a 79-65 victory over Southern Mississippi. Myles Luttman registered a DNP.

Oral Roberts got past Centenary 78-65. Mikey Manghum registered a DNP.

Arizona edged Washington State 65-63. Chris McNamara registered a DNP.

Tennessee-Martin over Eastern Illinois 63-62 on Saturday night. Levi Noel registered a DNP.
