There were a number of strong-performing Brits last night in NCAA Division 1 action, led by Matthew Bryan-Amaning, Ben Eaves and Joe Ikhimwin.

The Dawgs’ got a 98-72 victory over Eastern Washington on Tuesday night. Matthew Bryan-Amaning continued his strong start to the season with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks and 1 steal in just 19 minutes. He shot 5/8 from the floor and 4/8 from the line.

Ben Eaves rebounded from a tough first game and grabbed a double double of 12 points and 10 rebounds in just 16 minutes, shooting 5/8 from the field as Rhode Island routed intrastate rival Brown 92-67.

Joe Ikhinmwin had his second strong outing in as many games with 13 points in 17 minutes as his South Carolina State defeated Anderson 94-83. He went 5/6 from the floor and 3/3 at the line, whilst grabbing 6 rebounds, dishing 1 assist and getting 1 steal.

College of Charleston rallied from a 15-point first-half deficit to defeat Coastal Carolina 83-67. Andrew Lawrence played 20 minutes for Charleston, scoring 8 points on 3/7 field goal shooting, adding 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.

Stony Brook got a 51-49 win over Monmouth in our first match-up of Brits for the season. Danny Carter went scoreless in 16 minutes, going 0/2 from the floor and grabbing 1 rebound for Stony Brook, whilst Phil Wait, starting for Monmouth, scored 4 points on 2/8 shooting, whilst grabbing 1 rebound and blocking 1 shot before fouling out in 20 minutes. Daniel James (Monmouth) registered a DNP.

Appalachian State defeated Montreal 101-71 with Ryan Kilmartin playing 4 minutes, going 1/3 from the floor for 2 points.

Raheem May-Thompson started in the forward spot as Quinnipiac held off Hartford 66-64. Playing 22 minutes, he went 2/6 from the floor scoring 4 points, adding 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.

Charleston Southern edged The Citadel 68-61. Morakinyo Williams had a solid 13 minutes, scoring 7 points and grabbing 5 rebounds whilst dishing an assist. He went 2/4 from the field and 3/4 at the line.

Villanova cruised to an 84-47 victory over Marist. Menelik Watson started but fouled out in just 16 minutes, going 1/3 from the floor for three points whilst securing 3 rebounds in the heavy loss.

TCU defeated Southern Methodist 84-64 on Tuesday night. Myles Luttman saw his season debut, playing 2 minutes but registered a trillion.

Pepperdine held off Nevada 76-75, Patrick Nyeko registered a DNP. Tulsa to an 83-68 victory over cross-town rival Oral Roberts as Mikey Manghum registered a DNP whilst Washington State defeated Idaho 88-71 to move to 2-0 with Chris McNamara registering a DNP.
