Ashley Hamilton Double Doubles in LMU Win

GB U23 Ashley Hamilton had his first double double of the season as his Loyola Marymount Lions defeated Long Beach State 80-77 in overtime Saturday night. Hamilton with 13 points and 11 rebounds, adding 1 assist and 1 block on 6/8 field goal shooting (1/2 at the line) in 36 minutes

Rhode Island got a 71-58 victory over Davidson in a battle of the Brits. Ben Eaves had a strong outing in 22 minutes for URI, going 3/6 from the field and 4/4 at the line for 11 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Ben Allison (Davidson) saw his first action of the season after battling injury, finishing with 2 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal on 1/4 shooting in 16 minutes.

Iowa State secured an 81-59 victory over Montana State. Jamie Vanderbeken finished with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 1 block, on 4/10 shooting (2/7 threes) in 27 minutes.

Unbeaten Cleveland State pulled away in the second half to defeat St. Bonaventure 69-51. Ogo Adegboye played 36 minutes, finishing with 7 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists on 2/7 shooting and 3/9 free throw shooting.

UC Irvine players in double figures in a 77-56 victory over winless Marist. Menelik Watson played 14 minutes off the bench, finishing with 3 points (1/3 shooting, 1/2 at the line), and 6 rebounds.

Central Connecticut State edged Monmouth (N.J.) 54-50 after OT in the second battle of the Brits matchup. For CCSU, Devan Bailey played 23 minutes, finishing with 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal but remaining scoreless in 0/4 shooting. Phil Wait played 15 minutes for Monmouth, going 1/5 for 2 points, whilst grabbing 5 rebounds and blocking 1 shot. Daniel James registered a DNP.

South Dakota State made 13 of its 21 3-point attempts in routing Eastern Illinois 84-58. Levi Noel remained scoreless in 12 minutes, going 0/3 from the floor and finishing with 1 steal.

Coastal Carolina won over The Citadel 72-64. Morakinyo Williams played 12 minutes, remaining scoreless on 0/2 shooting but did grab 2 rebounds.

Campbell got past Longwood 93-77. Larry Awosanya played 2 minutes, and finished with an empty statline apart from 2 turnovers.

North Carolina State defeat Fairleigh Dickinson 77-67. Samuel Fernley registered a DNP. Oral Roberts beat Utah 78-70. Mikey Manghum registered a DNP. Vanderbilt got an 86-73 win over Appalachian State. Ryan Kilmartin registered a DNP.
Fordham rallied late in a 61-57 win over Hartford, the Rams’ second victory — matching last season’s win total. Fahro Alihodzic DNP.
