Carl Josey, the 6’5 guard/forward who graduated from VMI this summer and since signed his first pro contract with Icelandic side KFI, has dominated the pre-season out in Iceland where his team have gone 2-1.
Over three games, the Solent product seems to be making up for the lack of court time he received at VMI, averaging 22.3 ppg, 11 rpg and 4.3 apg.
In game 1, Carl Josey finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals, he followed that up with 26, 12 rebounds and 3 assists against the top team in Iceland, and rounded off his preseason with a 19 point, 9 rebound and 5 assist performance.
Josey and KFI have their first competitive game of the Cup tomorrow night. A sign of things to come for the regular season?
