Worcester Wolves vs Guildford Heat
Worcester Wolves kept alive their post-season hopes with a 111-77 rout of Guildford Heat last night behind a huge all around game from Lithuanian Kastytis Normantas.
Normantas went 9/11 from the field and 12/15 from the line for 31 points whilst adding 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Daniel Gilbert chipped in with 32 points of his own (7 threes), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Guildford were led by Julius Joseph’s 19 points backed up by Tayo Ogedengbe’s 16.
Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders vs Glasgow Rocks
The Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders got their 7th straight win to continue their assault for a top 3 finish, beating Glasgow Rocks 88-80 at home last night.
Jason Johnson had 24 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots to complete a huge line to lead Leicester. Sterling Davis and Steve Parillon led Glasgow with 20 points each. Jessie Sapp could not repeat his 39 point antics of the last game and finished with just 4 points.
