Andrew Lawrence (6′1, 185lbs, G, Freshman, London) Charleston Cougars.
College of Charleston Cougars saw their season end last night with a 93-86 loss to Virginia Commonwealth University in the College Basketball Invitational quarter finals. Andrew Lawrence was active in his 24 minutes, jacking up 9 threes, making 2 of them for 6 points, whilst adding 4 assists and 2 steals.
The Cougars ended the season 22-12, it was the 21st time in 30 years they have won at least 22 games.
Ben Eaves (6′7, 225lbs, F, Senior, Lancashire) Rhode Island Rams
The Rhode Island Rams Rams beat Nevada 85-83 in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament last night. Ben Eaves played 14 minutes off the bench going 3/7 from the field (1/4 threes) for 7 points, adding 1 rebound, 1 assist and 2 steals.
As a result, the Rams (25-9) will play a third-round game Wednesday at Virginia Tech, which eliminated Connecticut 65-63.
