Six Brits in action last night, and unfortunately not a good night for many of them with four of the six being knocked out of their conference tournaments. Read on to see who progressed…

Andrew LawrenceAndrew Lawrence (6′1, 185lbs, G, Freshman, London) Charleston Cougars.
Appalachian State routed College of Charleston 77-54 on Sunday night in the semifinals of the Southern Conference tournament. Andrew Lawrence had 5 points off the bench (1/3 threes, 2/2 at the line) and added 1 steal in 15 minutes of action in the loss.

The Cougars are 21-11 (14-4 Southern).

Ashley Hamilton (6′7, 210lbs, F, Freshman, London) Loyola Marymount Lions
The Zags (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 18 AP) got back back to their usual spot in the West Coast Conference tournament final with a 77-62 victory over Loyola Marymount on Sunday night. Ashley Hamilton played 22 minutes in the starting forward spot in the loss, finishing with 10 points on 3/9 field goal shooting and 4/6 free throws, added 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.

He also added a nasty facial which can be viewed in the embedded flash video to the right of this ESPN recap.

The Lions are now 18-15 (7-7 WCC).

Danny Carter StonybrookDanny Carter (6′9, 210lbs, C, Sophomore, Windsor) Stony Brook Seawolves
Fourth seed Boston University defeated number one seed Stony Brook 70-63 on Sunday night in an America East Conference tournament semifinal. Danny Carter got 7 minutes off the bench going 1/2 from the floor (0/1 threes) to finish with 2 points in the loss.

Stony Brook (22-9, 13-3 Am. East), which has an automatic NIT bid after winning the regular season title, erased a 16-point lead created by a 15-0 Boston U. run near the end of the first half but it wasn’t enough.

Justin Robinson Rider BroncsJustin Robinson (6′2, 190lbs, G, Junior, London) Rider Broncs
Top seeded Siena beat Rider 72-62 on Sunday night in the semifinals of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Justin Robinson sturggled by his standards in the loss, going 4/9 from the floor (1/2 threes) for 9 points, adding 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 38 minutes.

Rider are 17-16 (9-9 MAAC).

Mikey Manghum Oral RobertsMikey Manghum (6′1, 175lbs, G, Freshman, Derby) Oral Roberts Golden Eagles
Oral Roberts dispatched of North Dakota State in overtime last night, 65-64 in the opening round of the Summit League Tournament. Mikey Manghum got 1 minute off the bench, going 0/1 to remain scoreless on the night.

The Golden Eagles are 20-12 (13-5 Summit).

Raheem May-Thompson (6′6, 200lbs, Freshman, F, London) Quinnipiac Bobcats
Top-seeded Quinnipiac rode to an 83-78 victory over Long Island U. in a Northeast Conference semifinal game on Sunday. Unfortunately, Raheem May-Thompson registered a DNP.

The Bobcats will host the winner of the Mount St. Mary’s-Robert Morris game for the tournament championship at 7 p.m. March 10. They are now 23-8 (15-3 NEC).
