Hamilton lead Loyola Marymount past Pepperdine 87-84 in the first round of the West Coast Conference tournament Friday night with a huge game. Ashley Hamilton went 5/8 from the field and 13/15 at the line to finish with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 31 minutes.

The Lions will face No. 4 San Francisco (12-17) in the quarterfinals Saturday.

The Lions are 17-14 (7-7 WCC).

Ben AllisonBen Allison (6′9, 220lbs, F, Sophomore, West Sussex) Davidson Wildcats
6th seed Elon beat 3rd seed Davidson 66-59 on Friday in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament ending the Wildcats season. Ben Allison had a solid 15 minutes of action finishing with 6 points (3/6 field goals, 0/2 at the line), 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

Davidson Wildcats finished 16-15 (11-7 Southern).

Fahro Alihodzic (6′10, 235lbs, F/C, Freshman, Leicester) Fordham Rams
Bad news for Alihodzic’s Rams as they became the first Atlantic 10 team in 17 years to lose every conference game, going down to Duquesne 111-100 for their 21st straight loss .Fahro Alihodzic, moved out of his usual starting role, finished with 3 points (1/4 field goals, 1/2 at the line), 4 rebounds and 1 block in 19 minutes.

The Rams finished the season 2-26 (0-16 A-10).

Morakinyo Williams (7′0, 270lbs, C, Sophomore, Solihull) Duquesne Dukes
As already mentioned, Duquesne shook off a playground game-like pace and a second-half deficit to beat Fordham 111-100 on Friday. Morakinyo Williams finished scoreless on 0/1 field goal shooting and added 1 rebound in 4 minutes of playing time.

The Dukes are 16-14 (7-9 A-10).

Shane WalkerShane Walker (6′10, 211lbs, F, Sophomore, Northampton) Loyola (Md.) Greyhounds
Despite Shane Walker’s career high, ninth-seeded Manhattan got past eighth-seeded Loyola (Md.) 94-79 in the opening round of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament on Friday night. Walker finished with 26 points on 9/11 shooting (3/3 from three, and 5/6 at the line), added 8 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal in 32 minutes.

The Greyhounds finished 13-17 (6-12 MAAC).

Will OghuaregbeWill Oghuaregbe (6′8, 255lbs, F, Freshman, London) North Carolina-Wilmington Seahawks
Towson routed North Carolina-Wilmington 91-74 on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association tournament. Will Oghuaregbe finished with 5 points (1/3 field goals, 3/6 at the line), 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in 17 minutes.

The Seahawks finished the season 9-22 (5-13 CAA).
