Brits in the NCAA Roundup 17/02/10

There was a fare few Brits in action on Wednesday night, check em out below.

Larry Awosanya (6’7, 210lbs, F, Freshman, London) Campbell Fighting Camels
Campbell Fighting Camels registered a 20 point victory over USC Upstate Spartans, 66-46. Larry Awosanya only registered 2 minutes off the bench going scoreless on 0/2 shooting whilst adding 1 offensive rebound.

Campbell are now 17-9 (12-5).

Andrew Lawrence (6’1, 185lbs, G, Freshman, London) Charleson Cougars.
Charleston Cougars hit two free throws with 19 seconds left to win over Appalachian State 73-72. Andrew Lawrence played 15 minutes, going 1/3 from the field (all threes) for 3 points, adding 3 rebounds and 1 steal.

Charleston are now 18-9 (13-3).

Ben Allison (6’9, 220lbs, F, Sophomore, West Sussex) Davidson Wildcats
Davidson got routed 73-51 by Wofford. Ben Allison had another tough shooting night, going 0/5 from the field and 1/3 at the line to register a single point, adding 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block before fouling out in 17 minutes of action.

Davidson are now 13-13 (8-6).

Morakinyo Williams (7’0, 270lbs, C, Sophomore, Solihull) Duquesne Dukes
Duquesne secured an 83-77 win over Charlotte 49ers behind strong play from Morakinyo Williams in limited minutes. In 22 minutes of playing time Williams went 4/5 for 8 points, adding 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.

The Dukes are now 14-12 (5-7).

Fahro Alihodzic (6’10, 235lbs, F/C, Freshman, Leicester). Fordham Rams
Fordham added to what is already a dysmal season with an 84-56 loss to Richmond Spiders. Fahro Alihodzic played 11 minutes going scoreless (0/1), whilst securing 4 rebounds.

The Rams are now 2-22 (0-12).

Shane Walker (6’10, 211lbs, F, Sophomore, Northampton) Loyola (MD) Greyhounds
Loyola (MD) went down 69-91 to St Peter’s. Shane Walker played nice though, finishing with 10 points (4/11 from the field, 1/1 threes, 1/2 at the line), adding 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks in 28 minutes.

The Greyhounds are now 12-14 (5-11).

Ben Eaves (6’7, 225lbs, F, Senior, Lancashire) Rhode Island Rams
Rhode Island rams lost to St. Louis 62-57. Ben Eaves had 6 points (2/5 threes) and 1 steal in 20 minutes of playing time off the bench.

The Rams are now 19-6 (7-5).

Myles Luttman (6’11, 230lbs, C, Junior, Birmingham) Souther Methodist Mustangs.
Southern Methodist got a 10 point win over Rice, 67-57. Myles Luttman did not attempt a shot in 7 minutes but did secure 2 rebounds.

The Mustangs are now 12-13 (5-6)

Ogo Adegboye (6’0, 185lbs, G, Junior, London) St. Bonaventure Bonnies.
St. Bonaventure Bonnies were routed by Temple again 73-55. Ogo Adegboye had another extremely rough shooting night going scoreless on 0/5 field goal shooting and 0/1 at the line, he added 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal before fouling out in just 13 minutes.

The Bonnies are now 10-14 (3-8).

Ovie Soko (6’8, 225lbs, F, Freshman, London) UAB Blazers
UAB Blazers took down Southern Miss 59-54. Ovie Soko played 24 minutes finishing with 2 points (1/2 field goals), 2 rebounds and 1 steal.

The Blazers are now 20-5 (8-3).
