Rhode Island got a close win over George Washington, 72-66 yesterday. The Rams led by as many as 16 in the first half, but the Colonials chipped away at it in the second and trailed just 65-61 with 1:35 to play.

Lancashire forward Ben Eaves finished with 4pts, 1stl and 1blk on 2/3 shooting from the field in only 5 minutes of play.

The Rams now stand at 17-3, 5-2 in the Atlantic-10 conference.
