Hoopsfix Pro-Am Summer League returns for fourth consecutive year

Hoopsfix Pro-Am Summer League 2025

The Hoopsfix Foundation has confirmed the return of the Hoopsfix Pro-Am Summer League for its fourth straight year, running from June 15th to July 13th, 2025, at Brixton Recreation Centre in South London (tickets available now!).

Fast becoming a staple of the British basketball summer calendar, the five-week league brings elite-level talent back to The Rec — the iconic home of the Brixton Topcats — widely regarded as the spiritual home of London basketball.

With a focus on high-level competition, the league gives a platform to some of the UK’s top players, many of whom are based overseas or rarely appear in organised domestic action.

Past editions have featured a wealth of Great Britain Senior internationals, including the likes of Carl Wheatle, Akwasi Yeboah, Amin Adamu, Devon van Oostrum, Kavell Bigby-Williams, Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, and Matthew Bryan-Amaning.

On the women’s side, the court has seen appearances from Holly Winterburn, Ire Ozzy-Momodu, Shanice Beckford-Norton, Shequila Joseph, and Renee Busch, among others.

Georgia Gayle Hoopsfix Pro-Am

Last year’s MVP honours went to Georgia Gayle, GB Senior international and Sheffield Hatters guard, and Peter Turay, who became the men’s MVP for a second time and has since signed his first professional contract in Austria.

The Pro-Am has already built an esteemed MVP legacy alongside the aforementioned two, Isi-Ozzy Momodu (Maryland – NCAA D1), Shanice Beckford-Norton (Oaklands Wolves – SLBW), and Kayne Henry (ART Giants Duesseldorf – German Pro-A) have all taken home the honours.

The 2025 edition will feature eight men’s teams and four women’s teams, with games taking place every Sunday from 10:30am to 6:00pm on June 15, 22, 29, and July 6 and 13.
