London Lions became the first British team to make the EuroCup Quarter Finals with a 100-77 drubbing of Turk Telekom, 100-77, in EuroCup action at the Copper Box Arena on Wednesday evening.
A few days after clinching their second BBL Championship title, the Lions rolled through the Turkish side from Ankara, putting up a club record 60 points in the first half, to set up an away clash with U-BT Cluj-Napoca next week in the Quarters.

In a do-or-die outing the Lions, took a commanding nine point lead in the first period, sparked by Matt Morgan who had 11 of his 16 points in the first five minutes.
Fuelled by their incredible defence, London extended their lead to 16 in the second quarter and kept on rolling through the second half.
The hosts suffocated their opponents with their excellent defence increasing their lead to as many as 25 points.
David Nwaba scored 19 points to lead the Lions, while Gabe Olaseni tallied 18 points and eight rebounds as five London players scored in double digits.
Tyrone Wallace led his side with a game-high 25 points. James Plamer Jr. added 16 points.
