The game went down to the wire as Billy Ray Ivey stole the ball from Tejon Lucas with 12 seconds remaining and the Flyers trailing by two (72-74). Ivey was fouled and scored two three throws to seal the win despite a last second three-pointer from Tejon Lucas to reduce the deficit to one point.

Utena ended Bristol’s seven game winning streak.

“I thought our guys fought really hard, we defended really well in the second and third quarter,” Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas said.

Tejon Lucas led the Flyers in scoring with 19 points, he added 5 rebounds and 8 assists to his tally. Four Bristol players scored in double digits.

Brad Greene recorded a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, following his impressive performance in their ENBL opener.

Billy Ray Ivey scored a game-high 24 points to lead his team to victory, leading three players in double digit.

The Flyers will return to action in the ENBL against Polski Cukier Start Lublin on November 21st at the Globus Arena at 7pm.
