Portugal too much for GB U20s

The Great Britain Under-20s dropped to 1-1 at the Division B European Championships with a 63-56 loss to Portugal on Saturday afternoon in Macedonia.

GB struggled with a lack of guard play, being unable to look after the ball; they finished with 30 turnovers as Portugal had 21 steals.

Zamoku Weluche-Ume finished with 10 points and seven rebounds, Victor Ndoukou knocked down 11 free throws for his 11 points, while Louis Halliday had nine points on 4/4 shooting.

Daniel Vieira Tuck starred for Portugal with 20 points and seven steals.

GB will look to bounce back on Sunday at 12:30 when they take on Luxembourg.
