Louie Jordan has announced his commitment to join NCAA Division 1 school Weber State ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The 18-year-old forward was part of Charnwood College’s EABL title-winning roster this season as they defeated Myerscough.
I’d like to thank my family and friends for all the support they have given during my 3 years at charnwood. I’d also like to thank the riders organisation and coaches for all the support given. With that being said I’m proud to announce my commitment to weber state ! pic.twitter.com/Xtnc4Y9s8D

Jordan averaged 13.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in the EABL regular season and also made 13 league appearances for Leicester Riders in the BBL.
“I’m excited to commit to Weber State,” he said via release. “I have always wanted to go and test myself in the NCAA and I’m really grateful to Weber State for the opportunity to fulfil a dream.
“Winning the EABL title is the perfect way to leave Charnwood College. I owe a big thank you to the whole Rider programme – the staff and coaches who have supported me in my time here.”
The Leicester native is the second Charnwood player to announce they are D1 bound next season after Victor Ndoukou confirmed his intention to join North Dakota.
Jordan is set to link up with another Brit at Weber State with Alex Tew part of the roster that went 21-12 in his freshman year.
