Quite the statement from the WBBL outfit on their European debut, with a cushion that will surely take them into the group stages once the formalities of the return leg in Spain are complete.

Even with Jo Leedham rested, the hosts ran riot at Crystal Palace with Holly Winterburn leading the way with 22 points.

Mark Clark’s side blew the game apart with a 20-6 run in the second period and were coasting clear by the close with Kennedy Leonard adding 14 points.
