EUROPE OFF NBA MAP FOR 2021-22

The NBA will not stage any games in Europe once again in the forthcoming season, it has been confirmed to MVP.

Covid-related travel issues are thought to be behind a decision to leave any international contests off the schedule in the league’s 75th Anniversary campaign.

Paris was the venue for the previous European detour between Charlotte and Milwaukee in January 2020 with NBA officials planning at that point to return to the French capital ahead of London for 2021.

The 2021-22 regular season, which comprises 82 games per team, will tip off on Tuesday, October 19 and conclude on Sunday, April 10.

The New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors meet on Monday, November 1, marking the 75th anniversary of the league’s first regular-season game, which was played between the Knicks and Toronto Huskies on Nov. 1, 1946.

Christmas Day will feature five games across Sky Sports and League Pass Hawks at Knicks, Celtics at Bucks, Warriors at Suns, Nets at Lakers and Mavericks at Utah Jazz.

For the 2021-22 season, 46 weekend games will air in primetime in Europe.
