Hensy Sako was crowned Dunk Contest champion at the 2021 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic after overcoming Veron Eze in the final at the Battersea Sports Centre, in London.
The Sheffield Elite guard had expressed his desire to make his mark at the event and become the latest winner of the contest in the event’s history.
Sako trailed Eze by four points after the first dunk in the final round and needed a score of 27 to surpass his rival’s overall score of 49. The 19-year-old duly delivered with his final attempt landing the contest’s highest score with 29 points for a dunk over not one, but two players.
