NBL Division 1 Men’s Coach of the Year, Mark Jarram, and EABL East Conference Coach of the Year, Jesse Sazant, will face off in the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic Class of 2018 game on Saturday June 2nd in Brixton.
Both coming off impressive seasons, they bring a wealth of experience to the coaching positions.
Sazant, founder and Chairman of NBL club Kent Crusaders, who also headed up England’s Under-15 development squad from 2011-16, will take the reigns of Team Black (rosters).
“I’m really excited and honoured to be asked to coach in the Hoopsfix All Star Classic,” Sazant said.
“It is a great event that showcases the best junior players in the country and brings the community together. I’m looking forward to playing a small part in it and helping the players enjoy the day.”
Meanwhile, Jarram is fresh off winning the NBL Division One League title with Loughborough Student Riders with a young group of full time British students, also completing a three-peat with Loughborough’s BUCS side, and will head up Team White (rosters).
“Always a privilege to be involved in this type of event,” Jarram said.
“It’s very rare that you get the top junior players from all over the country in one place playing in one game. There is a huge amount of talent in both games and it’ll be exciting to watch them take the floor and showcase themselves.”
