England-Scotland Clash to Open 2018 Commonwealth Games Tournament
England and Scotland will face off in the opening game of the men’s basketball event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games with the full schedule revealed.
The two home nations will go head-to-head at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre on Thursday, 5 April 2018.
After a rest day, England return to action to face India, while Scotland take on Cameroon on April 7 before both sides finish the pool stage the following day with their opponents reversed.
Scotland announced Tony Garbelotto has taken over as new Head Coach and will lead the team in Australia next year, while England have yet to appoint their Head Coach.
