Carl Wheatle has been ruled out of GB’s upcoming EuroBasket 2017 campaign with a knee injury, it has been confirmed.
The 19-year-old made his GB Senior debut last month and was set for a second major tournament of the summer having helped the Under-20s earn promotion.
However, Wheatle sustained a tournament-ending knee injury in GB’s recent victory over Hungary on Thursday.
