Aaron Menzies Pours in Career-High 35pts to Lead Seattle to OT Win!

Aaron Menzies went off for a career-high of 35 points last night to lead Seattle University to an 81-77 victory in overtime.

The redshirt sophomore went 12-of-15 from the field and also netted 11 free throws in an impressive 35-point haul in 36 minutes of action.

Menzies had recorded a previous best of 21 points in a 62-point win last season when he played alongside fellow Brit, Jack Crook – who has since turned pro in Spain.

The 7’3″ Manchester-born centre also hauled down 11 boards in last night’s victory with an assist having racked up 30 points by the end of regulation.

Menzies has started all four games so far this season with Seattle 2-2 with averages of 13.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game on the back of his huge double-double performance.
