The NBA has confirmed today that tickets for NBA Global Games London 2017 featuring the Denver Nuggets vs. the Indiana Pacers will go on sale Friday, Oct. 28 at 9 a.m. BST.
The ticket sales date was initially announced on a Facebook Live interview with NBA TV’s Kristen Ledlow almost a month ago, but details of the time and location to buy remained private.
The game, which will be played at The O2 on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, marks the seventh regular-season NBA game to be played in London in as many years. Tickets for NBA Global Games London 2017 will be available at www.theo2.co.uk/nba2017.
The six previous regular-season NBA games in London – all sellouts – included the New Jersey Nets vs. the Toronto Raptors in back-to-back games (2011); the Detroit Pistons against the New York Knicks (2013); the Atlanta Hawks vs. the Brooklyn Nets (2014); the Milwaukee Bucks against the Knicks (2015) and the Orlando Magic vs. the Raptors (2016).
The Nuggets currently feature Italian forward Danilo Gallinari, who led the team in scoring last season with a career-high 19.5 points per game. Denver also features 2014 FIBA World Cup gold medalist Kenneth Faried and rising stars Nikola Jokic (Serbia) and Emmanuel Mudiay (Democratic Republic of the Congo).
The Pacers are led by three-time NBA All-Star and 2016 Olympic gold medalist Paul George, who led the team in scoring last season with 23.1 points per game. Indiana also features 2015 NBA All-Star guard Jeff Teague and rising star Myles Turner.
NBA Global Games London 2017 will air live on BT Sport 2, the official broadcast partner of the NBA in the UK.
