Kieron Achara has been named the Molten BBL Player of the Month for the second month running after a string of strong performances in March.
The GB veteran helped Glasgow Rocks to four wins from five in the BBL Championship as they push for a top-four finish.
Achara averaged 18.2 points per game along with 10.8 rebounds with three double-doubles in five appearances.
The 32-year-old was deadly from beyond the arc during March with an impressive 52.6% success rate from 3-point range after making 10 of his 19 attempts. Achara sunk all three 3-pointers against Bristol Flyers on March 12 as he equalled his season-high with a 30-point haul in the 67-75 road win.
Achara is now averaging 14.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 blocks on the season and makes the Rocks a dangerous team going into the post-season with their spot already secured with three league games left to play.
Plymouth Raiders duo Cory Dixon and player-coach Daryl Corletto were also in the running for the award after both players averaged in excess of 20 points per game in the month of March.
Meanwhile, Leicester Riders play-caller Rob Paternostro was awarded the Molten BBL Coach of the Month Award for the second month running.
