Josh Kanini Hits Insane Game Tying 3 for England U18s

England Under-18 and Eastside Eagles big man Josh Kanini comes through in the clutch with one of the most ridiculously improbable game tying shots we’ve ever seen – and the first at Manchester’s new National Basketball Performance Centre.

With 4.6 seconds on the clock and England down by 3 (arena scoreboard was wrong) to the Myerscough Select squad, Cameron Bett inbounds to Kanini who surely was supposed to give it back to Bett but instead turned around, faded away and let it fly (listen to the collective groan as he releases lol) – as it hit the front of the rim, bounce 5 feet in the air and dropped through the hoop!

It resulted in the scrimmage ending up tied at 85 – after six 10 minute periods, with England U18s having over 20 players to look at in game action.

The squad finished training camp in Manchester on Thursday, having cut the team down to 16 – which is expected to be announced soon.
