Luol Deng produced his best display of the past week in a 108-87 home win against Orlando Magic after contributing 10 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. The 30-year-old then scored nine points to help Miami Heat (43-30) defeat Brooklyn Nets 110-99 in their latest game on Monday.

The LNBP Playoffs semi-finals in Mexico got underway this past week and Soles have opened up a 3-1 advantage against fifth seeds Gigantes. Matthew Bryan-Amaning had 21 points and nine rebounds to lead his side to an opening victory, and netted a series high 24 points in Game 4, though it ended in a 78-75 defeat. Aaron Geramipoor went 5-of-5 in a 13-point haul in the opening game, and also had 13 points in game four.

Myles Hesson scored 14 points from the bench as Dijon (14-11) suffered an 81-69 defeat on the road in Pro-A to remain outside of the playoff places. In Pro-B, Laurence Ekperigin contributed six points and six rebounds to a slender 66-64 victory for Poitiers (13-11), who are up to seventh. Eric Boateng is a win away from winning the NM1 title with Blois (24-4) after finishing with six points and five boards in their latest 69-51 success, while Gareth Murray scored three points in a 74-79 road win for Angers (14-14) as they climbed into the top eight.

In Spain, Dan Clark had seven points in 14 minutes of an 80-89 home loss for Andorra (11-14) as his side remain one win outside of the playoff places. Joe Hart knocked down a three in LEB Silver action as Araberri (16-8) claimed a 92-64 victory. Elsewhere, in Germany, Gabe Olaseni went 6-of-8 from the field for 14 points and collected six rebounds to help Giessen 46ers (14-12) into the eighth with a 74-82 road win in the Beko-BBL.

Justin Robinson netted four triples on his way to 24 points, while fellow Brit Ovie Soko flirted with a triple-double after racking up 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, although Trikala (7-17) suffered a 79-88 defeat at home in Greece’s A1 league. Meanwhile, Devon Van Oostrum netted 11 points to help Arkadikos (7-17) to a 60-61 triumph away from home. In A2, Robert Gilchrist recorded six points and 10 rebounds as Peristeri (5-11) were beaten 68-61.

In the Netherlands, Ali Fraser scored nine points and collected eight boards, while Nigel Van Oostrum handed out 10 assists to go with four points and five rebounds in an 83-90 defeat for Leeuwarden (8-15). Also, Jules Dang Akodo finished with 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals to help lead LTH Castings to an 84-86 victory on the road, in Slovenia.
