Newcastle Eagles will start the defence of their BBL title against Sheffield Sharks as the 2015-16 schedule was released.
The BBL season will get an earlier-than-usual start on September 18 – before the end of the international season.
BBL Cup Round 1 draw: Sheffield v Manchester, Plymouth v Bristol, Surrey v London, Glasgow v Leeds (to be played w/e 16-18 October)
Quarter-Final draw:
Newcastle Eagles v Glasgow Rocks or Leeds Force
Worcester Wolves v London Lions or Surrey United
Leicester Riders v Sheffield Sharks or Manchester Giants
Cheshire Phoenix v Bristol Flyers or Plymouth Raiders
Non-league sides Falkirk Fury, Derby Trailblazers, Essex Leopards and Reading Rockets have been handed slots in this season’s BBL Trophy.

The BBL have also confirmed that their Playoff final will again be held at London’s 02 Arena on May 8 2016.
