England U16 Squad for Sweden Series Announced

The England Under-16 squad competing this weekend in a three game series vs Sweden at Oaklands College has been announced.

Head Coach Alan Keane has selected a squad of 16 to take to Oaklands, led by the likes of Nelson Boachie-Yiadom, Jacob Iwowo and Josh Edwards.

“We are very excited about having the opportunity to play Sweden once again as part of our preparation for the European Championships,” Keane said.

“We are always eager to play them in the build up as we know we are always going to be competing against a well organised, fast paced, disciplined style team who will challenge us to be at our best on both ends of the floor.”

England will play Sweden at 7pm on Friday and Saturday, before an afternoon game on Sunday at 2:15pm.
