Nelson Boachie-Yiadom (’99) Drive & Dunks Before Swatting Shot vs Sweden

Check out Nelson Boachie-Yiadom, widely considered the top 1999 born British talent, with a couple of highlight plays against Sweden as England U16s played the first of their three game series in Oaklands last night.

Sweden would end up victorious in Game 1, with a 71-61 victory, but Nelson showed his ability – the long 6’7″ wing had a nice drive and dunk before swatting away a Swedish shot attempt later in the game.

London Westside’s Boachie-Yiadom made the England U16 squad a year young last summer, averaging 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and an assist and block per game and is expected to be one of the leading figures of the squad this year.

He participated in the Jordan Brand Classic International Tour in Zagreb in March.
