Kyle Johnson has left Brampton A’s to join Italian second division side Angelico Biella as an injury replacement.
The GB guard netted a season-high 28 points to help Brampton A’s reach the Canadian NBL playoff semi-finals this weekend, but has now opted for a return to Italy.
Johnson previously spent last season at two different teams in Italy, with Vanoli and Ferentino, and heads back after averaging 13.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in his time in Canada, having made the move in January.
England under-18 international Carl Wheatle is also at the club having signed a four-year deal in 2013; playing for the under-19 side.
Johnson will look to reach the post-season in a second league this season with Biella currently sitting sixth in A2-Gold with a 14-11 record.
