Jordan Spencer produced a near double-double performance as Augustana Vikings won their first-ever NSIC Tournament Championship with a 98-82 win over MSU Moorhead.
The British guard, who was named NSIC Freshman of the Year last week, hit three triples in an 11-point display and also dished out 8 assists.
Spencer hit a 3-point dagger with less than three minutes remaining, just as the Vikings’ opponents began to rally from a double-digit deficit to close within six.
The former GB under-20 international made it 11 straight games with 10+ points as he finishes his first season with averages of 11.5 points and 6.3 assists per game, whilst shooting an impressive 48.9% from beyond the arc.
