Ryan Richards scored a career-high 40 points on Wednesday, in Kormend’s first game back after the Christmas period.
The 7’0″ big man went 17/28 from the field (5/7 at the line) and grabbed 8 of his 15 rebounds on the offensive end while helping Egis Körmend to a 100-71 win over Marso Nyíregyháza.
Richards was averaging 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds prior to his career night for Kormend, who are now 4-10 in 10th place in the Hungarian A Division standings.
