Kieron Achara came up with three point heroics for the second time this season after sinking a triple with four seconds remaining to give Glasgow a three point win over London Lions on Friday night.
With the shot clock about to run out, Achara came off a pick and pop and knocked down the three from the top of the key as the shot clock buzzer sounded to give Glasgow an 89-96 victory. It follows on from his game winning buzzer beater in the BBL Cup against Leicester in November.
On the ensuing possession after Rocks were called for a foul, Vince Macaulay lost his temper, having to be restrained by Laurent Irish. The Lions then came up short on a three point attempt at the buzzer to give Rocks the win.
Macaulay and Lions Captain Drew Sullivan ripped into the officiating after the loss.
