“You’ve got everyone (on) your phone (saying) `I can’t wait to see you.’ It’s a lot of distractions at the same time, but it’s also exciting.”
The Bulls honoured Deng with a video tribute, showing clips of his time in Chicago, during a timeout in the first quarter.Deng took to instagram after the game and posted the below picture with the caption:
“Great team win today. Thank you to all the fans for such a warm welcome back to the United Center, sincerely. It was a very emotional game for me and words cannot express my appreciation. Also thank you to the Bulls organization for the thoughtful tribute. #HeatNation.”
