With the seventh week of the college basketball season completed, we take a look at all the top performing Brits in NCAA Division 1 as we enter 2015.

Player of the Week

Alex Young starred again for UC Irvine to take the player of the week honours. The junior guard scored 12 and dished out 6 assists in a 69-67 overtime loss to Oregon, before the Anteaters responded with a big 82-53 victory to end 2014. Young filled the stat-sheet with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals as well as 2 blocks.

Best of the Rest

Guard Teddy Okereafor helped Rider University finish the year with two victories with two all-round displays. Okereafor had 9 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in a win over Wagner College before adding 6 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in a following 69-59 win against Marist College.

Ben Lawson grabbed four boards and had three assists in a crushing 89-42 win for Western Kentucky, before finishing the year with 5 points and 4 rebounds as the Hilltoppers claimed consecutive victories.

Will Saunders had 11 points and 8 rebounds in a convincing 81-47 win for Charleston Southern, while Chris Caird scored 9 points as Drake suffered a 66-58 loss to Wichita State to end 2014.

Centre Jack Crook scored 5 points and had 6 rebounds as Seattle defeated UC Davis, with Shore Adenekan adding four points in the 76-67 win.

Luke Nelson missed the two games for UC Irvine with a facial injury.
