Louise Rouse named to All-Rookie Team in Canada

Louise Rouse was named to the Canada West All-Rookie team after an impressive first year at Calgary.

The forward had averages of 11.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game across 17 appearances with four starts for the Dinos.

Rouse posted a best of 21 points in November as part of a run of 10 straight games with 10+ points to open the season.

The 2001-born forward recorded two double-doubles with a season-high of 14 rebounds to go with 10 points earlier this month.

Rouse spent last season at Leicester Riders in the WBBL having previously developed through the academy at Oaklands Wolves, whilst also competing at the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic in 2021.

Calgary are 22-10 on the season and have advance to the title game of the Canada West post-season tournament with Rouse playing alongside fellow Brit Pollyanna Storie.
