Luol Deng sat out a loss at Charlotte before returning to score 23 against Indiana on 9-13 FG shooting including 3-3 from beyond the arc. The GB forward then returned to Chicago and recorded his third double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds as well as 4 assists in the 96-84 victory.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu top scored for AEK Athens (7-7) in a 76-67 win after finishing with 13 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Ogo Adegboye also produced an all-round display with 8-4-4 to help Aris (8-5) to a 79-61 success in the A-1 league. Matthew Bryan-Amaning produced a big 15/15 double-double as Soles (24-10) won 97-85, before scoring 15 in 18 minutes and adding 8 boards in a second win for the Mexican side this past week.

Ryan Richards continued his trend of bettering his career-high by a single point after going off for 42 in a 96-88 defeat for Kormend (6-11). The 23-year-old shot 11-19 from the field and added 13 rebounds in another strong performance in the Hungarian A-Division. Kyle Johnson had a team-high 17 points along with 8 rebounds in 23 minutes as Brampton A’s (12-10) edged a high-scoring game 119-116 in the Canadian NBL.

After a winter-break, Ovie Soko returned to action and put up 19 points in an 81-70 road win for Boulazac (11-5) after going 9-10 from the foul line. The Duquesne alum also collected six boards and added two assists in leading his side to victory in France’s Pro-B.

In NM1, Shane Walker scored 17 points (9-9 FT) from the bench as Lourdes (11-5) ran out convincing 103-70 winners at the weekend. GB veteran Eric Boateng was a basket away from a double-double as he finished with 8 points and 10 rebounds in an 84-69 win for Mulhouse (6-10). Also, Tafari Toney posted 12 points and 8 rebounds as Sorgues (6-10) defeated Quimper 83-74.

Dan Clark played just 11 minutes for Fuenlabrada (4-14); contributing 2 points in a 91-85 defeat at Bilbao. In LEB Gold action, Aaron Gerampioor had 10 points (4-4 FG) and 5 boards in 19 minutes of action, but Ourense were beaten 70-68. GB guard Devon van Oostrum scored 12 points and dished out 7 assists as Penas Huesca (5-12) fell to a 77-74 defeat.

Myles Hesson did not play in an agonising 85-84 defeat for Bremerhaven (5-14) as they remain second from bottom. In Pro-B, Orlan Jackman (1pt/8rbs) came out on top in the battle of the Brits as Iserlohn (14-2) defeated Karlsruhe (9-7) 89-60, with Robert Gilchrist posting 8 points and 7 rebounds in opposition. Jules Dang Akodo scored six points as Fraport Skyliners II (7-9) lost 91-64 on the road.

Yokohama split their two league games in Japan this weekend with Dzaflo Larkai adding 7 points in a 69-58 victory before coming up big with 26/13 in a following 72-71 defeat. Nigel van Oostrum had an incredible 8 steals during a 91-85 win for Leeuwarden (5-10) with the Dutch-born Brit also scoring 8 points and adding 5 rebounds in the victory.

Justin Robinson shot 6-6 from the field on his way to a 17-point haul whilst adding 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a 76-55 win for Apollon (8-5) as they moved to within two points of top spot, in 5th. 7’0″ centre Liam Potter (started) and scored 7 points during a 95-60 win for Svendborg (12-6) mid-week in Denmark.
