Myles Hesson Signs Short-Term Deal with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven

Great Britain Senior Men’s Myles Hesson has signed a short-term deal with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven, the German BBL club have announced.

Hesson was invited to try out with the team in Lithuania last week and has now penned a four-month contract, expiring at the end of December, with an option of extending the deal to the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has spent the past two seasons playing in Germany and has gradually made his way up the leagues having started in Pro-B with Weissenhorn Youngstars in 2012. Hesson ended the season with a brief spell in the top flight with parent side Ratiopharm Ulm before joining Giessen 46ers last summer.

A successful season saw the 6’6″ forward average 16.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game to earn the Pro-A Forward of the Year award.

Hesson has just finished his second summer with the GB National Team and featured in all four of the EuroBasket 2015 qualifiers against Bosnia and Iceland averaging 5.8 points per game.
