Mirza Teletovic Leads Bosnia to Victory over Iceland with 29 Points

Bosnia & Herzegovina made it two wins out of two in Group A of the 2015 EuroBasket qualifiers after beating Iceland 72-62 thanks in large to 29 points from captain Mirza Teletovic.

The result provides a boost for GB’s hopes but they still need to beat Iceland by at least 14 points when they meet at the Copper Box on Wednesday before requiring further results to go their way. Losing by less than 10 in Bosnia and hoping the Balkan side defeat Iceland in the final game.

Brooklyn Nets’ Teletovic again played a key role for his side having put on a clinic against GB last week in London. The 28-year-old put 29 past Iceland on Sunday and also pulled down 12 rebounds in the ten point win.
