Great Britain Senior Men’s Dan Clark has agreed to join Spanish Liga Endesa side Baloncesto Fuenlabrada for the upcoming season, the club has announced.
The 25-year-old’s spell with Laboral Kuxta was cut short last season due to injury but Clark has since recovered to play a key role in GB’s EuroBasket qualifying campaign. He ended up spending almost the entirety of last season in the UK rehabbing.
Clark also represented the Brooklyn Nets at the Summer League and will re-unite with former Estudiantes Head Coach Luis Casimiro in Madrid having spent his entire pro career in Spain.
The 6’11” big man averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game for GB this summer, but the team failed to qualify for EuroBasket 2015.
