The Great Britain Under-20s were unable to get past Italy, losing 76-67 on Friday evening in Crete at the Division A European Championships.
Head Coach Doug Leichner’s side will now play for 11th place on Sunday. His squad led at through three quarters but were let down in the fourth, being outscored 22-12 as Italy ran away with it in the final five minutes.

Kavell Bigby-Williams led GB with 17 points and 7 rebounds – his best game of the tournament, Jordan Spencer added 14 points, 6 rebounds & 5 assists, while Luke Nelson joined them in double figures with 11.
The team will play in the 11th-12th place game against Slovenia this Sunday at 10:30am UK time.
