British Basketball Announce Kit Deal with Errea
British Basketball have announced they have partnered with Italian sportswear brand Erreà to kit out the GB Senior and Under-20 men and women teams this summer.
Erreà replace adidas, whose deal with British Basketball expired at the end of last year, and will be known to many fans as the former outfitter of England Basketball national teams. England Basketball are now in their first summer being kitted out by Zoti Sports, after a long standing relationship with Errea.
“We are delighted to welcome Erreà to the British Basketball programme and we look forward to this summer being a first step towards growing our relationship with them,” David Leyden Dunbar, Commercial Director for British Basketball, who also doubles up in the same role for the British Basketball League, said.
“We are really proud to be working with British Basketball,” added Fabrizio Taddei, Export Manager for Erreà,
“We are probably better known in the UK for football, but across Europe, basketball is one of our primary sports and we are pleased to be bringing years of experience to this partnership. The British national teams are becoming a force to be reckoned with. The sport, as a whole, is growing rapidly across the country and we are really looking forward to being part of an exciting period in British basketball.”
Fans will be able to buy the new Erreà GB jersey at the home EuroBasket qualifiers this summer and also online at www.gbbasketball.com in the near future.
