Shequila Joseph Hits Game Winner to Give GB Win Over Romania

The Great Britain Under-20s secured their first win of the Division B European Championships with a 69-67 victory over Romania on Saturday afternoon.

With the score tied at 67, Shequila Joseph sank a game winner with three seconds remaining to give GB the much needed win.

Joseph finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 steals to lead GB, whilst Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Claire Paxton added a 10 point, 10 rebound double double.

GB will now look to finished their summer campaign on a high as they face Portugal at 4:15 UK time on Sunday.
